ReckonClaims is a privacy-first consumer app that helps individual patients understand, organize, and respond to medical bills, insurance claim denials, surprise bills, prior authorization denials, provider billing errors, and medical debt, calmly, in their own browser.

The American medical-billing system is built for institutions, not patients. EOBs read like code. Denial letters bury the deadline in paragraph six. Collections notices arrive while a claim is still in review. ReckonClaims is here to turn that paperwork into a plan you can actually act on, without giving up control of your documents.

Your documents stay on your device by default. We never tell you you definitely don't owe a bill or that your appeal will win. We give you a calm, structured starting point, explanations, drafts, deadlines, checklists, and we tell you when something needs to be verified with your insurer, provider, advocate, or attorney.
